About Patrick Cummings //

I've been in Graphic Design my whole life really. I knew I wanted to be one of two things when I was younger. A major league baseball player or an artist. Once my skills were seen by the public on the baseball diamond, my first dream was dead. I had no interest in being a "starving artist" so I set my sites on the ever changing world of Graphic Design.

I've only been a actual professional in the business since graduating high school in 2000. I started out developing logos, shirts, whatever I could for friends and acquaintances. That grew into a steady stream of freelance work while I was attending Carthage College, where I received my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Graphic Design.

I feel since then I've come a long way. My designs are better, my knowledge is better, and my work ethic is better. I want to know everything there is to know about Graphic Design, and not just in logo design or web design, everything. Paper, Printing, Proper DPI of a Billboard, Neon bending, whatever I can learn, I'm going to.

I recently ended my employment with FOPPE DeSigns, Inc in Highland, IL as a Division Leader. FOPPE DeSigns is divided into 5 divisions (Identity, Promotions, Graphics, Signs, and Fine Arts) and I led the Graphics Division and also worked on the Exhibits with FOPPE DeSigns.
